Jining, China-Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan online cultural exchange activity held

Recently, Jining City successfully held an online meeting on international sister city cultural tourism with Tokmok City, Kyrgyzstan.

By watching the publicity film, Wang Hui, the Deputy Director of Jining Culture and Tourism Bureau, introduced in detail the cultural and tourism resources and the overall development of Jining. She also stated, since Jining and Tokmok became sister cities in 2019, they have maintained close contact and developed a deep friendship, with broad prospects for development in the cultural and tourism field. She hoped that through this online exchange meeting, they can further deepen understanding, strengthen emotional connection, enhance communication and cooperation in the cultural and tourism field, jointly organize exhibitions and interactive activities, and promote personnel exchanges.

Sydygaliev Batyrbek, Director of the Tourism Department of Chüy Region, Kyrgyzstan, introduced the local cultural tourism resources. He mentioned, cultural exchanges between two cities were frequent and friendship was continuously deepened. Both cities have unique cultures and customs, providing a fertile ground for promoting cultural exchange and cooperation. He hoped that the two cities can extensively exchange and cooperate in various aspects such as cultural tourism, art popularization, and cultural and museum exhibitions.

The meeting has deepened the friendship between the two cities.  Jining Culture and Tourism Bureau will take this exchange meeting as an opportunity to uphold the spirit of the Silk Road and promote the continuous cooperation of jointly building the Belt and Road.
